Tuesday and Wednesday-
On Tuesday and Wednesday we finished up learning about the different governmental structures in South Africa, Kenya, and the Sudan. We also viewed a promethean presentation on the Sudan region of Darfur.

Crisis in Darfur
We also finished up class yesterday breaking into our groups for our project on AIDS and learned a little about how the disease is crippling much of Sub Saharan Africa. We read a diary entry from a 13 year old AIDS orphan and began filling out our problem/solution handouts.
Thursday-
The groups continued answering their problem sheets to answer the question, What preventative measures are currently in place in Africa to deal with AIDS? What problems do you see with what the governments are currently doing?
